Adults on Sunday mornings

The adults have no Sunday School classes on Sunday mornings. Why? We have fellowship around coffee and tea and snacks at Perks Coffee Café! Why would a church have a Coffee Café like PERKS? Simple – spending time together in a relaxed atmosphere is all part of growing a community.

The first-century church of Acts 2 spent time together every day in each others’ homes enjoying meals together. Quarry Ridge believes that in order for people to grow in their faith, they need a biblical community and lots of fellowship. Unconditional followers of Christ cannot grow without fellowship... fellowship and friendship provide the proper atmosphere for discipleship to occur.

If we don’t have Sunday School for adults, when does our Christian development take place? At the Ridge, fellowship, worship and teaching take place on Sundays, but the best spiritual growth and nurture for adults is at the heart of our weekly Discipleship Teams.
